L'Garde reflector design continues using lessons learned from the Inflatable Antenna Experiment. This reflector design utilizes new materials and metalizations for improved RF performance. New design techniques and algorithms have resulted in an accurate reflector with very low internal pressure and film stress further reducing the weight of an already gossamer structure. The LDP has been tested in a near-field RF testing range and exhibited good performance up to 8GHz.
